Shares of Crizac Ltd made a strong debut on bourses on Wednesday, closely inline with D-Street expectations. It was listed at ₹281.05 on the NSE, a premium of 14.71 per cent; and at ₹280 on the BSE, a premium of 14.82 per cent, against the IPO price of ₹245.
Market experts believed the stock to list at 15-20 per cent.
The ₹860-crore IPO witnessed an overwhelming response with 59.8 times subscription and received bids for 154.57 crore shares, against 2.58 crore shares on offer. The price band was fixed at ₹233-245 per share.
It was entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) of equity shares worth ₹860 crore by promoters Pinky Agarwal and Manish Agarwal with no fresh issue component, as per the red herring prospectus.
The company mobilised ₹258 crore from anchor investors ahead of the IPO.
As at 10.39 am, the stock gained nearly 5 per cent to trade at ₹293.68 (soaring to a high of ₹295.65. On the BSE, it traded 4.29 per cent higher at ₹292. Follow the live action here
